Self-Righteous Politicians
Politicians are all too ready to guilt the public into confessing their sins at the pulpit of big government.
With great vanity politicians everywhere feel obligated to sermonize the public about acts of violence.
And with great ambition politicians everywhere seek to advance their self obsessed agenda whenever murder is committed.
This is because of our godless age.
In our current godless times, meaning hungry nihilists are all too ready to confess their sins of ignorance and inaction to predatory politicians who are eager to convert guilt into votes.
In the early 2000s this was the electoral strategy of America’s 44th president.
And it’s still the strategy today.
But enough is enough.
It’s time politicians get back to minding their own business and get away from tampering with the people’s emotions for electoral success
Or, at the very least, tell people to go back to church so they can quit worshiping stuffed suits.
It isn’t healthy.
To trust a politician with one’s emotions and spiritual well being is like having an alcoholic manage a liquor store.
It doesn’t work.
Politicians aren’t able to satisfy the spiritual needs of suffering people while also rationally negotiating policies that will improve our nation.
And most of all it doesn’t make sense.
Preachers are preachers and politicians are politicians. To treat politicians as prophets of the coming utopia is a violation of the principle of separation of church and state, which makes no sense for allegedly atheist liberals.
But ultimately people need God and not some pandering stand-in politician. After all, confessing one’s sin of liberal white guilt -- particularly for school violence -- to Bernie Sanders isn’t going to create heaven to earth or bring back the dead.
