Open markets bring others with different values, ethnicities, religions, political beliefs, work backgrounds, and philosophies together in a way that is mutually beneficial for everyone.
Or, in other words, open markets creatively integrate people into society with more inclusion than any socialist utopia could.
Look, for instance, at all the major cities in the United States.
Because the markets are so large, and there’s so much money to be made, people from different backgrounds frequently congregate together without much hostility.
Thus money and markets not only make the world go round, but they also make the world more accessible and open to everyone.
Likewise open markets are superior in including people with diverse interests into society because open markets facilitate a wider range of human activity. In a big prosperous economy anyone can do and be almost anything-- including working in what the rest of humanity would consider “impractical” professions like science and philosophy.
That stands in stark contrast to other areas of the world that lack the progress of commerce.
In poorer and more restrictionist countries foreigners are treated with suspicion and contempt. Meanwhile the masses spend most of their lives doing hard manual labor in a limited number of big industries for little money or joy.
Accordingly there’s little time or resources available to thoroughly analyze the physical world or think deep thoughts.
Nor is there much interest in tolerating those with different cultural or ethnic backgrounds.
So let us open the markets, open our wallets, and watch with awe as the invisible hand pushes us all more closely and inclusively together!
