The elites exploit the experiences of the broken underclass not for the members of the underclass’ advancement but to keep them down.
This sort of petty oppression, however, is not just hypocritical. It’s also a part of human nature.
In fact numerous studies confirm that the elite will do everything in their power to maintain their distance from the mediocre and less accomplished.
Accordingly the elite will always pretend to care about the underclass in order to keep them dependent, particularly on the government, and away.
After all that is the function of Marxist, CRT, communist, and socialist theorizing.
By creating seemingly sophisticated justifications for poverty -- that actually further oppress the underclass -- the elite can simultaneously rid themselves of class guilt while also keeping down those they claim to want to help. The elite then never have to worry about encountering those they simultaneously have contempt and compassion for.
In these circles then this pervasive bipolar schizophrenia -- schizophrenia meaning “split mind” -- not only damages the credibility of the elites, but also undermines the social fabric -- trust -- of our great nation.
To restore the trust then the elites should do one or more of the following.
Candidly acknowledge human nature and admit to using the levers of power to keep people down.
Get over the class guilt by encouraging people to be more like the elite and less like the underclass
Embrace a position of radical openness and welcome the urban underclass to live with them in their suburban palaces.
Renounce their lot in life, donate all possessions to the working class, and live like a Marxist St. Francis.
Then when these actions are taken the trust in the elite can be restored. Until that point the elite should be condemned for their praise of “democracy” while they themselves live high on the hog.
