Can Moms Save America?
The great awakening in the politics of education presents the best opportunity for moms to save their kids from lousy government schools
When the COVID pandemic swept the nation in 2020 something unprecedented happened -- moms began to get involved in politics like never before.
From denouncing Critical Race Theory to standing up to dictatorial bureaucrats imposing illegal mandates, moms across the nation did a commendable job in standing up for themselves and their children’s rights.
But the threat to liberty -- and the safety and security of America’s children -- extends far beyond CRT and mask mandates.
In fact the greatest threat to liberty is government schools in and of themselves.
Government schools threaten the long term well being of children across the nation by failing to get the most out of them.
The statistics are unequivocal on this point.
According to the National Assessment of Educational Progress only 23 percent of public school 8th graders are proficient in civics.
Likewise SAT scores had been declining for over four decades before they changed the scoring system in 2017 to inflate the results.
And lastly the university -- which is, at this point, an extension of the K-12 system -- is burying kids with inordinate amounts of debt only to see them to work jobs that don’t require a college degree.
Clearly ignorance of our nation’s history with more debt and fewer job skills isn’t helping kids maximize their potential.
Concerned moms could immediately change this bleak future for their children. And they could save America too. By more insistently advocating for school choice moms could more easily give birth to a new nation full of children that are maximizing their potential and are as strong and independent as their parents are.
